How can I cancel my parking space booking? öffnen

You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. In your login area, go to Bookings and click on the Cancel button. You will immediately receive a confirmation of cancellation. Please note: If you have booked within the 24-hour period prior to arrival, it is unfortunately no longer possible to cancel free of charge. The provider will be informed at the same time as your booking; they will plan both parking and transfer.


If you have booked our "Storno Plus", you can cancel free of charge up to the last minute before arrival. The parking fee will be refunded in full, only the €4.90 will remain with us.


You have booked through one of our partners. In this case, please contact the partner you have booked directly. You will find the contact details on your booking confirmation.

How can I change my parking reservation? öffnen

You can easily and conveniently change your parking reservation under your bookings until 24 h before you travel. If you make changes later, please contact us by phone or email.

I have no received confirmation. öffnen

Please check your spam, junk mail or advertising folder. If you have not received a confirmation e-mail in one of these folders, then write to us at [email protected] and you will receive a new booking confirmation immediately to the e-mail address provided in the booking.

Can I book a parking space despite missing flight data? öffnen

If you do not have any flight data yet, you can still make a booking. Simply enter fictitious data in all the fields for which you do not have any information at the current time. Once you have received the correct and final flight details, they can be added to your booking.

My departure time is just after midnight. How do I book my parking space? öffnen

Please book your parking space one day prior to your departure date, as the arrival date is based on when you arrive at the parking lot.

Here is an example:

Input when booking:
Arrival day 01.05.2020

The number of persons changes on the day of return. öffnen

If you are shuttled with several people on the day of arrival, but do not use the shuttle again with your fellow travelers on the day of return, then still indicate the complete number of persons. This also applies in reverse, so always specify the maximum number of travelers. You are welcome to leave an info in the comments field.

Where can I park cheaply at the airport? öffnen

Parking prices at airports vary depending on the location. There are alternative parking spaces near the airport, usually including transfers.

Where can I find my vehicle dimensions (length, width, height)? öffnen

In the vehicle registration certificate (registration certificate part I) you will find the vehicle dimensions, such as length, width and height, usually in the following fields:

Field 18: Length in millimeters (if specified)
Field 19: Width in millimeters (if specified)
Field 20: Height in millimeters (if specified)

This information is not always complete. Particularly with older vehicle registration documents, it may happen that the dimensions are not listed. In such cases, you can usually find the vehicle dimensions in your vehicle's operating instructions or look them up on the manufacturer's website.

How do I receive my booking confirmation for my booked parking space? öffnen

After submitting the booking, you will receive a booking confirmation from Ich-parke-billiger.de with all the important information and details about the parking lot. The parking lot operator will also receive a message about your booking and can schedule the transfer to the airport accordingly.

What information is included in the booking confirmation? öffnen

After booking the parking space, you will immediately and automatically receive the booking confirmation by email. From the booking confirmation you can see the contact details with the address of the parking lot at the airport as well as the booked period, your personal details, travel times and the price. When making your booking, please make sure that your e-mail address is entered correctly.

How can I cancel my parking space booking? öffnen

You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. In your login area, go to Bookings and click on the Cancel button. You will immediately receive a confirmation of cancellation. Please note: If you have booked within the 24-hour period prior to arrival, it is unfortunately no longer possible to cancel free of charge. The provider will be informed at the same time as your booking; they will plan both parking and transfer.

Your flight was postponed/canceled due to COVID-19? öffnen

If you have already started the journey, please inform us by e-mail stating your booking number about the new return flight: [email protected]. Our service team will process your change as soon as possible.

If you cancel your flight, you can also cancel your parking space free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Simply go online to Your bookings and cancel the desired parking space booking there. After a successful cancellation, you will immediately receive a cancellation confirmation from us by email. For cancellation inquiries that are less than 24 hours before your arrival, please send your booking number directly to our service team via email: [email protected].

Please note: If you already paid for your parking space booking before arrival via PayPal, this amount will automatically be credited to your chosen parking space when you cancel your next parking space reservation. We would like to give you the opportunity to use the parking space on your next trip and redeem your credit.

Do I have to print the booking Confirmation? öffnen

It makes sense, to print the booking confirmation and to present it to the parking lot provider on the day of arrival. But that is not necessary because your parking spot is reserved, and the parking lot provider is informed of your arrival.

How do I pay the parking fee for the parking spot at the airport? öffnen

ICH-PARKE-BILLIGER offers you the option of paying the parking fee online by credit card, Klarna Instant bank transfer, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay, depending on the offer - or you can choose to pay on the day of arrival at the parking lot operator in cash or by EC card. You can choose the payment method as part of your online booking.

Why do I have to specify my phone number when booking? öffnen

To ensure a smooth process, it may be, that the parking lot provider must reach you by phone. This is necessary if you do not appear at the parking lot at the specified time or the pick-up service does not find you at the airport.

How can I change my parking reservation? öffnen

You can easily and conveniently change your parking reservation under your bookings until 24 h before you travel. If you make changes later, please contact us by phone or email.

What is Valet parking? öffnen

Valet-Parking means maximum service an no waiting times. The transfer of your vehicle does not take place at the parking lot, but directly at the airport terminal. Your car will be picked up at the airport by an employee of the car park on the day of arrival and brought back there again at the return date. During your absence  your car key is usually safety kept in the safe.

The flight time can be changes in your login area.  Go to “Your bookings” and log in with your password. You have received your password by e-mail in your registration confirming. Now you can choose the desired booking and correct the flight times up to 24 hours before departure. Please safe your data, while you click “Change”. You automatically get a change confirmation by e-mail. If you make changes later, please contact us by phone or email. 

You have entered a wrong arrival time? öffnen

No Problem. You can change the arrival time in your login area. Go to “your booking” and log in with your password. You have received your password by e-mail in your registration confirming. Now you can choose the desired booking and correct the arrival time up to 24 hours before departure. Please save your data while you click “change”. You automatically get a change confirmation by e-mail. If you make changes later, please contact us by phone or email.

You have entered a wrong License Plate? öffnen

Normally just the booking number and your name are important for the parking lot booking. To play it safe or if you booked a valet-service, we beg you to change your license plate up to 24 h before departure. Go to “your bookings” and log in with your password. You have received your password by e-mail in your registration confirming. Now you can choose the desired booking and can replace your old license plate. Please save your data while you click “change”. You automatically get a change confirmation by e-mail. For later changes, please contact us by phone or email.

You want to book a parking spot for two vehicles? öffnen

Booking for two vehicles is easy with us. You normally book for the first vehicle. After that booking comes the question: “Booking for another vehicle?”. If you choose yes, all you must do is enter the data that is different from the first vehicle. (License plate, number of persons or the like).

Do you have to leave your car key at the parking lot? öffnen

The decision lies with the parking lot operator. In the offer selection you will find a key symbol. Also in the detailed view of the offer you will find the description and the item “service” – there you will find the information about your possible key delivery.

Do you park your car by yourself or is it parked? öffnen

Should you have chosen a parking space with the Shuttle-Service, you often can park your car yourself. At some parking operators, the car key delivery is required. In that case it may be, that an experienced employee parks your car. In peak season, operators sometimes need to transpose your vehicle. In every case the safety of your car is important. When booking a Valet-Service, the vehicle handover takes place at the departure terminal directly at the airport and you enjoy the VIP-Service. An employee parks your car at the booked parking lot.

Can I change the arrival and departure dates? öffnen

If you have decided to pay your booking in cash, the change of the arrival and departure time is possible. You can change the period of travel in your login area up to 24 h before departure. Go to “your bookings” and log in with your password. You have received your password by e-mail in your registration confirming. Now you can choose the desire booking and correct your travel period. Please save your data while you click the button “Change”. You automatically get a change confirmation. 


If you paid with Paypal you will get a payment request if the parking fee has changed. After receipt of the payment the already paid amount will be refunded automatically and you will receive a confirmation of the change immediately.

Where can I find information about garage height? öffnen

Call up your desired offer. Under “Details” you will find information about the parking garage. If you arrive with a larger vehicle, please note the information about the entry altitude.

How much baggage can I take with me? öffnen

One Suitcase and one hand luggage are included per registered person.  You can choose more luggage under bulky luggage.

I have no received confirmation. öffnen

I get the error message HH:MM öffnen

In the booking mask the departure time, the time of arrival at the parking lot, the transfer of the vehicle at the valet parking and the landing time of the return flight must be selected. Gray times can not be selected.

How do I get to the airport? öffnen

You will be driven to the airport with a Shuttle-Service and picked up again after the return flight. The transfer is included in the booked price.

What is shuttle service? öffnen

The free shuttle service includes the transportation of several people in a collection vehicle between the parking lot and the airport. Upon arrival, you will be driven to the airport after parking your vehicle and picked up at the airport on the return journey. The meeting point for pick-up at the airport is described by the car park operator on site. You can find more information about the process in the detailed descriptions of the individual offers.

How do I receive the booking confirmation for my booked parking space? öffnen

After completing the booking, you get a booking confirmation from ich-parke-billiger.de wich includes all important information about the parking spot. The parking lot provider also receives a message about your booking and organize your transfer to the airport. 

What information is included in my booking confirmation? öffnen

After booking the parking space you will immediately and automatically receive a booking confirmation by Mail. In the booking confirm you can see the address of the parking spot and their phone number, the period of the booking, your personal information and the price of your parking. Please make sure that your e-mail address is entered correctly. 

I paid at the car park in cash/with EC card and need an invoice. öffnen

The parking provider will issue a receipt on site. If this is not the case, write to us at [email protected] and we will forward your invoice request to the parking provider.

If I pay in advance, will I receive an invoice immediately? öffnen

If you have paid in advance, you will receive an invoice with your booking confirmation.

I have paid via Paypal, but the payee is not ich-parke-billiger. öffnen

ICH-PARKE-BILLIGER is a project of SOFTPUNK GmbH. It is therefore possible that the company name SOFTPUNK GmbH is stored on the proof of payment.

Why do I have to arrive at my booked car park 3 hours before departure? öffnen

In general, most airlines recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before departure. For long-haul flights it is even 3 hours before departure. To ensure a punctual and smooth take-off, we recommend arriving at the car park at least 3 hours before departure. For long-haul flights 3 1/2 hours before departure. During vacation periods, we recommend that you arrive at the parking lot 3 hours before departure, and 4 hours before departure for long-haul flights. An earlier arrival at the car park is possible without any problems. When booking, you can enter your desired arrival time.

Why can't I choose the time? öffnen

If the time is greyed out, there is no shuttle service or service at this time.

Why do I have to give my mobile phone number on the booking form? öffnen

In order to ensure that everything runs smoothly, the car park may need to reach you on your mobile phone number. This may be because you are not at the car park at the time of arrival or the pick-up service will not be able to find you at the airport on the day of departure.

Where can I find information on parking garage height? öffnen

Call up your desired offer. Under "Details" you will find information about the car park. If you are travelling with a larger vehicle, please note the information about the entrance height.

What to do in the event of a claim? öffnen

If the vehicle has been damaged, inform the parking provider directly on site and have the damage confirmed. It is also advisable to obtain the contact details of the contact person for further correspondence. Unfortunately, it can happen that the person who caused the damage cannot be identified and the parking provider will not be able to settle the claim. We therefore recommend that you seek advice from your insurance company. You can find information on the settlement of damages in the General Terms and Conditions of the car park provider.
As a comparison portal, we unfortunately have no influence on the decision of the car park operator to settle the claim.
We will gladly support you in communicating your request.

Can I park my caravan with you? öffnen

You can find information on parking a caravan in the details of the respective offers.
If you do not find any details, send us a message with your chosen offer and we will check your request.
In the high season (holidays, summer) we kindly ask you to inquire in advance if parking a caravan is possible.

I have a lot of luggage and would arrive with my trailer. What do I need to consider? öffnen

If you would like to arrive with a trailer, you must always book two parking spaces. Please contact us at [email protected] so that we can check availability before you book.

Arrival by SUV, VW bus, Sprinter, van, pick-up, truck and so on. öffnen

Information on parking a larger vehicle can be found in the details of the respective offers. In the booking mask you have to select the additional offer XXL parking space. If you don't find any details, send us a message with your selected offer and we will check your request.

I have made a change and now I am supposed to pay the full amount again! öffnen

If the booking price changes, a new online payment will be initiated for online payments. The changes are not effective until the new payment is completed. After the payment is completed, the old, existing payment will be refunded in full.

When does the shuttle bus to the airport depart? öffnen

The shuttle buses usually run individually. When making your booking, please state the arrival time at the parking lot and the landing time on the return day. The transfer to the airport will be scheduled based on this information.

How do I get the phone number of the shuttle service? öffnen

You will find the telephone number of your shuttle service on your booking confirmation under “Contact options on the day of arrival and departure”.

Where can I rate the parking provider's service? öffnen

We will send you a review email no later than 3 days after your return. This way you can describe your experience and give other customers an impression of the parking service. You can also leave us feedback on the airport parking service at https://www.ich-parke-billiger.de/kunden-login.

You will find the parking lot address under “Details” before you make your booking. As soon as you have completed the booking, we will send you a confirmation with all the relevant details. You can find the address of the parking lot under “Parking lot”.

How can I check whether my parking space reservation has been successfully completed? öffnen

Once you have successfully reserved a parking space, you will be taken to a page with the words “Thank you for your booking”. You will also shortly receive confirmation of your parking space reservation by e-mail.

How does the procedure work on the day of return? öffnen

In most cases, pick-up cards are handed over by the parking providers on the day of arrival. Regardless of whether you use the shuttle service or the valet service. If you have not received any information or have lost the pick-up card, please contact the shuttle/valet service after receiving your luggage.

How can I check whether my parking space reservation has been successfully completed? öffnen

After a successful parking space reservation, you will land on a page with the words “Thank you for your booking”. You will also shortly receive confirmation of your parking space booking by e-mail.
